Ok, so I was volunteering at the 10th World Wushu Championships, and I was holding the team signs. During rehearsal (so we were uniform and looked nice), I didn't know the names of the other people who were also holding signs (there were many volunteers from different branches of the organization I was part of). So I called to the people by the country their sign showed. We had to make sure that we were uniform in coming out on both sides (entrance A and B, when bringing the teams into the stadium), so we had to remember our "partners", so that when they marched out, we marched out.

APH moment, my partner was a guy with the sign "France", but he was a bit younger, and loved to wave his sign around (I was Croatia). I didn't know his name, so I kept calling out across, "Hey France! Quit waving yourself around!" (now I know how the characters in APH feel when they talk to each other and call each other by country name)

When it was time for the actual marching in with the teams (many of whom just got off the plane and were tired), I got Great Britain (Arthur Kirkland!). And because we had to enter the stadium in alphabetical order, Great Britain stood beside France (XD). They did not talk to each other, despite the fact that other teams, regardless of language barriers, greeted each other warmly.

Team France was friendly and nice through and through, taking pictures with everyone and posing together happy ^^ (they actually do act like APH France, except for the gropy part).

Team Italy is really energetic! When I was carrying the signs to the preparation area (passing through the teams waiting to enter the stadium), Team Italy rushed up and started motioning towards themselves while vehemently saying, "Italiano! Italiano!" (it was because I was carrying Team Italy's sign to the back). (There was a Romano in Team Italy! I mean someone with the name 'Romano'

In terms of identification, I think Team Spain was the most helpful. One of them draped the flag on his shoulders, so it was easy to tell. Just look for the guy in red and gold, that's Team Spain. Surprisingly, they were very quiet and not a single one was called "Antonio" (but there was an Antonio and Antonia in Team Italy, though). Sorry, APH Spain. (Yes, I do realize that APH only portrays stereotypes of people from different countries). Mexico and Argentina were more energetic and talkative in comparison.

Team USA was large...so many people! (Yes, Alfred likes everything big, even team USA is big...but I guess it's because it's relatively easy for them to come here, to Canada).

I really felt sorry for Team HK, China, and Taiwan though...they weren't too used to the time differences (well, yeah...we're like 13 hours apart). Team HK was drowzy, so they stood behind China's sign instead of the HK sign. I don't blame them, though.

Lithuania did not show up.... I would've liked to see Team Lithuania...Team Estonia and Team Latvia did show up, I think. Team Germany showed, but I didn't get to see them
